    • Systemic disorder of unknown aetiology
    • Involves
      • Upper airways
      • Lungs
      • Kidneys
      • Skin
  • Clear or blood-stained nasal discharge
    • later becomes purulent
  • Patient complains of “persistent cold”
  • crusting, granulations, septal perforation in nose
  • General systemic symptoms
    • Anaemia
    • Fatigue
  • Night sweats
  • Migratory arthralgias
  • Lung - cavitary lesions on xray
  • Kidney involvement
    • Elevated serum creatinine
    • Urine
      • Presence of red cells
      • Cast and albumin
  • Biopsy from the nose is diagnostic
    • Shows necrosis, ulceration of mucosa
  • ESR is raised ​​​​​​​
    • Systemic steroids
    • Cytotoxic drugs
      • Cyclophosphamide
    • Immunosuppresasnts
      • Azathiorpine
